The Johns Manville insulation plant in Penbryn stopped producing insulation years ago and was shuttered to just a skeleton crew. Now it seems jobs have returned and production will resume. Two covered hoppers were dropped there a few days before this move, but before that, the plant hasn't seen any kind of rail service in several years.

WPCA51 arriving at the switch-

Shoving covered hoppers into the plant-

Returning to the main-

NS 5311 on the rear of WPCA51 as they head south through the Williamstown Junction remnants. Even the long siding has recently been removed between New Freedom and New Brooklyn Roads. 5311 has PTC, as evidenced by the bulky equipment on the cab roof. A forward facing camera has also been installed.

The latest South Jersey Trains video is out for March 2018 and features lots of heavy road and local freight train action, even out in a snow storm. Also includes scenes of two brand new SEPTA ACS64s being moved after some testing on the West Trenton Line and the Cape May Seashore Lines working in Tuckahoe

Nice shots Bob. I didn't think anything else mattered unless it's a BNSF GEVO or UP AC44 but I'll take a standard cab 60 any day over that.
Here it was leading 38G in yesterday.

Also, there was some hot rolling stock in the form of two MP gons, an SP gon, and an ex-Greenville & Northern box car-

The latest South Jersey Trains video is out and features several goodies including two separate Black River & Western engine moves into and out of South Jersey, WPCA51 working the reactivated Johns Manville plant in Penbryn, SEPTA AEM-7s, an extremely rare coal train on the Trenton Sub, and the last 4 remaining original PATCO II cars. Grab some popcorn for this one!
