It's a tracking system. Maybe if you're lucky your engine'll be at your Cape May line on wednesday.

WPCA20 took PV SILVER STAR from Pavonia to Hainesport Monday, photographed at 36th Street Pennsauken.

CA20 stopped short of the River Road overpass because YPCA15 with NS 39G was ahead on 2
Running.

Yes Railcar1, the 2000 has arrived. I caught it coming in on CA07.... chochobob was probably napping when she arrived...

In a once in a lifetime event, NJT was turning an engine with the CA64 crew piloting on the DIVIDE-HATCH-JERSEY 'wye', when they got down to Cove Road and were told to wait for CA07 to come in with the ex-PRSL 2000 in tow before finishing their move. So here's PRSL 2000 meeting NJT 4207 at Cove Road-

Looks like that engine was worked on before coming down. Most notably what look like new wheels on the back truck.

NICE shot with the 2000 and the NJT train. You won’t ever see that again.

Thanks Bracdude! The NJT extra came up from Atlantic City and wanted to spin the engine on Amtrak but were apparently denied, so they spun on Conrail. The engine was down as a protect unit, but due to unexpected circumstances, she was pressed into service. Coming down from the MMC the wrong way, it had to be spun for revenue service, thus this move.

Heard Cape May line people were at the engine house for its arrival. Should be getting delivered to them today.

MI61 North through Newfield at 5:40 PM

NS 5283 (horribly rotten)
NS 5287
37 cars

I’ve noticed a lot of the NS locos, especially the hi hoods are in bad need of fresh paint or at least a good wash, these days. The 5225 takes the cake.

I said horribly rotten because it runs like and blows black smoke everywhere. They were struggling to stay moving through Newfield.

Up here on the southern secondary we once had NS 5280. it was very dirty but was one of the best engines they ever had. NS 2946 was good too even though it had graffiti all over it for a while lol.
