Does anyone know anything about the person who runs the snack cars on Amtrak?
I'm a college student now, and it seems like it would be a cool job (for a little while at least).
I've only ridden Amtrak once so I'm not very familiar with their operations. Is there a snack car on every train, or just shorter trains that don't have a dining car? I'm asking because I'm wondering if these people get to travel all over or just around one region.
I've poked around on Amtrak's website a little, but I can't find any information. I assume the job is poorly paying. Is it a tough position to get?
Any info would be appreciated.
