I've "won" the lottery every year, and you see a lot of the same faces.

I got my email, I'll be there.

Signed up again this year...guess I didn't win. Le sigh. :-(

So I'm curous. In the email it says "you and your guest will be able to participate in the Rodeo by riding on the Broad Street Line during the competition".

What exactly is the competition? What do the engineers have to do?

I'm in. Hopefully the Roadeo competition this year will have them running the BSL down the main line, and not just around the yard.

For those of you that couldn't make it, the BSL competition had them running down to Erie and back on the express tracks. They had all 3 types of RR cars on display (SLV, SLIV, and irene flood cars)

My nephew and I got a cab ride around the yard on the BSL cars.... but not many pictures since a 3 year old is not patient around trains.

At the risk of become bus.net, one of the vintage busses was labeled "DELL SPECIAL / Roosevelt Blvd & Comly Rd".
What's the Dell Special? Is that a shuttle buss between Blvd & Comly and the music venue?

I must have missed the main line runs of the BSL, since I only got it around the yard.
