Hey Seashore fans..... do you like to operate? Do you want to see seashore continue in the future? Then please come out starting Sat. Oct. 7 and running each weekend till this job is done... more hands the faster the project will go. Here is the scope....

Jim Tebbetts and I replaced some ties in the loop last year and now the ties leading up to those ties need to be changed out. Its about 10 ties or so.

I ask of anyone who wants to have a good time, enjoy fellow conversations and learn some new stuff and help Seashore in the process.

Contact me via [email protected] or call 617-686-5930

Have a "good time" and conversations ????

I wouldn't put it quite that way ...
Changing RxR ties is very rewarding & satisfying work,
but folks should understand that it's very physical & dirty.
I know this because that's what I do at Branford.

On the positive side, no experience required and with the proper instructor & labor saving mechanical devices you won't hurt yourself,
just a little ach or pain for a day or so ...
B-U-T knowing that you had something to do with the RxR being able to continue running down the line for years into the future is something that gives this writer a warm feeling !

Hey Seashore guys... especially you track guys... anyone know my friend Randy Bogucki? He's a good guy, just moved out there last year from Rochester, NY. He was our track supervisor at our museum (Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum) and really helped keep the railroad in top shape.

I have enjoyed every visit to Seashore. Keep up the good work.

Also, if you can think of any changes or additions to make to the Museum's website, I'm open to suggestions. I'm working on getting more pictures on the website to show more of the Museum, but its slow progress.
