The latest section of the bike trail on the Schuylkill Branch goes from Cynwyd, past Barmouth and then onto the old 1/2 mile siding that went to where Belmont Avenue and Rock Hill Road meet in Lower Merion. It is called the Cynwyd Heritage Trail. The stretch on the Pennsy from the Concrete S bridge to Fountain street will not be used until funds are provided for tall fencing on overpasses. The starting point for the Schuylkill end is still at Port Royal Avenue. Here is the URL for the Cynwyd trail:
