Is rt 23 gone now? I saw under the bus schedules under the SEPTA website.

The 23 is dead under SEPTA, its current leadership and the current transit funding situation in the state of PA.

While there is essentially no chance the 23 will ever see a trolley car again, it being listed under the bus schedules of the SEPTA website is nothing new. The 23 and 56 have been considered bus routes (not temporarily buses) by SEPTA since 1992 when they shut down trolley service on them. The 15 fell in to the same category until its ressurection.
