It looks like I'm going to be in the Rockmart, GA area shortly and was wondering a few things about CSX out there. I know NS is the main show in town with its busy Atlanta-Chattanooga mainline running through, but I was curious about the CSX Rockmart Sub. Does it have signaling? I know authority for movement is via Track Warrant, but do they also have signals like the Georgia Subdivision?
Are there any kind of daily movements on this line as far as downtown Rockmart? I know it ends in Cedartown so I doubt its traffic is as much as my home Georgia Sub.
