According to one dealer who advertises in MR, "Walthers agreement with Rivarossi has ended and Walthers does not expect further shipments from Rivarossi.
There is no official word on how this effects warranty support products already imported by Walthers".

This is the latest From Lima in Italy.
The only authorized repair shop in the wolrd is the Lima shop in Italy.
If there is a failure within the two year warranty period the loco must be returned with warranty card/proof of purchase to Italy.
A modeler can't find this out until the loco carton is opened.
