This one was listed as a common carrier by the ICC, and I was thinking that it was on the Mesabi Ridge in Minnesota, shipping taconite and lumber. There was certainly a paper rr of that name up there a decade later, hoping to run from the city of Virginia.

However, I notice that "Bibliography of Virginia History" by Cappon 1930 mentions this railroad.

Has anybody in VA ever heard of it? I certainly haven't.
