The symbol for this notation is scattered among weekday trains listed in the latest Metro North New Haven Line timetable, both east and westbound. What do the "snacks" consist of? Do they have sandwiches?

The symbol also denotes a bar car is scheduled to be on that train. Serves the same things as the beverage carts in the block at GCT. Snack & beverages and assortment of alcoholic drinks for the grown ups.

It's NOT a cafe car - it's a bar car. Pre-packaged chips & peanuts and alcohol.
