I have a friend who thinks he saw bi-levels with quarter-point doors on MARC recently.

I thought that the only bi-levels MARC had were Kawasaki bi-levels with end-doors and ex-METRA galleries with low-level center-doors.

Who's right?

I've never heard of a quarter point door, but you're right about the two types of bi-level that MARC uses.

No MARC passenger car has quarter point doors. As you said, the Kawasaki bi-levels have doors on either end, and the Pullman gallery cars have double center doors. I suspect your friend mixed the doors on the gallery cars for quarter point doors.
