Anyone know why 1034,1053 and 1054 are still in BET and is 1117 still awaiting to be put in service??

Last Ive seen there are several screamers and a few GP40MCs. There hasnt been any locomotive scrapping in almost 15 years or so(correct me if Im wrong), the 902 and 1016 are just out of service.

Ok so 902 and 1016 won't be in service ever again? The locos on the deadline now are they in for inspection or parts source?

I might have jincked 1034 since it was sitting south of Cabot yard with the red lights and the middle nose light all on not moving. Maybe back to bet for this loco.

So how would working marker lights and a headlight tell you a loco is not working?? Spare engines are kept at south Hampton st outside the facility

Ok that still tells us nothing in relation to if the engine is running or not. S&I 4 is used as a storage track so there is no real way to tell if something on it is dead or being kept there as spare equipment. You cant assume anything just by looking at lights and if it's moving or not it tells you nothing on the state of the equipment.
