Every night I walk my dog near the north ramp into the Red Line subway. Many times I see trains crawling slowly into and out of the tunnels, only after 9p. This is compared to their normal 30-40mph speed on the ramp. The trains toot their horn, and soon, track workers in visivests come out of the tunnels. One night, I was on a train that crept past track workers in a tunnel. This is quite common, I see it 2-3 times /week. Does the CTA have a crew walk the tunnels every night?
