what is status of LAL #418, WNYP #428 & #433, IBCX #2028, NYSW #3674, and HLCX Locomotive, and i was told B & H #422, is returns to Cohocton, and LAL 424, is returns to Lakeville,

433 Backshop
IBCX 2028 Enroute Cohocton
3674 Cohocton...sits
HLCX sitting in Olean
422 Lakeville, truck swap (both)
424 WNYP in service

No longer owned by IBCX. Borrowed reporting marks. Also it's been in Cohocton since January 22.

Caught 3006 being moved around Friday morning.

Good catch! Did they use the road crew with the 72 to do this, or was it a different crew?

2028 is not being worked on..not yet anyway,,
I was in Cohocton on Friday March 19, and 2028 is still sitting outside with boarded up windows..
nothing is being done yet..

3674 is the only engine being worked on in Cohocton at the moment..

Luther, et al, do you know if the 430-series were recabled before heading out to service?

One of the M&E 430 twins burned up in an ill-fated push attempt some years back, and I remember that it was never right until Kevin got at it...and even with that, I don't know if it it got recabled or not. I'm thinking the one that burned up got recabled, but about the others, I don't remember.

To the best of my knowledge at least 430 and 432 have been recabled. I'd imagine 431 was recabled as well and I doubt 433 has been.

According to Railfan.Net, #2028 is being stripped of parts in Cohocton.
