Let's hope any further "farewell" fan trips don't end that way (hmmm, M-2, various Geeps, etc.). Not that they rate a farewell trip, that is.
Was just looking at the Pierce Haviland site (nicely updated), I'd say that the S-Motor you mention, having been "birthed" in 1910, may well have outperformed some of the F-10's, having lasted that long.
