The weekend will be chock full of exciting activities. Get there early on Friday to take advantage of everything. Below you'll find a schedule of activities.
Friday October 24th

12pm - 9pm: Quality Inn Lobby - Convention Registration & Checkin Open
12pm - 9pm: Hospitality Room - Open Slide Projector & Display Room
5pm: Hospitality Room - 4th Quarter CRHS Membership Meeting
7pm - 11pm: Outsite the Quality Inn - Transportation to Night Photography Session at the Altoona Railroader's Memorial Museum and Gallitzen Tunnels
7pm - 10pm: Hospitality Room - Open Slide Projecter & Displays in Room
Saturday October 25th

7am - 8am: Hospitality Room - Continental Breakfast for Convention Members
8am - 5pm: Outside the Quality Inn Lobby - Board the tour buses for Conrail's Allegheny Crossing Tour (with lots of chances to get out and take photos). Planned stops include: South Fork (home of the SD80MAC’s), Summerhill, Cassandra, Cresson, Gallitzin, and Horseshoe Curve. Picnic lunch at Cassandra.
6pm - 7pm: Hospitality Room - Social Hour
7pm: Room Dining Room - Banquet featuring a keynote speaker, awards ceremony, and slide presentations by Roger Durfee and John C. Durant
Sunday October 26th

6:30am - 7:30am: Hospitality Room - Continental Breakfast for Convention Members
7:30am: Outside the Quality Inn Lobby - Buses depart hotel. Group A goes to Norfolk Southern JBS Tour - Group B TBA
9:30am: Group B travels to Norfolk Southern JBS Tour - Group A TBA
11:30am: Railroaders Memorial Museum - Both groups meet at Railroaders Memorial Museum for lunch at the Museum
5PM - Convention ends - Have a safe trip home!

2 VERY neat things to note Otto,
1- 2 hour Juniata Shop Tour (NS has limited to 100 people, but there is still space!)
2- Elkhart Wreck Crane Demonstration at RRMM Sunday Afternoon as well as guided tours of the "Loretto" and the "Mountain View"

Also, our two slide shows are
1) Roger Durfees show called "Conrail's Rainbow Turns Blue"
2) John Durant's show called "Conrail through a scale inspector's eyes"
