If they do make Stewart into a major hub with a rail link to it, the service would have to be frequent for people to use it. Otherwise, if it is not, they will be in their cars for fears of waiting long periods of time at the station. What they have now will never work as they could not run back during any part of the evening rush, nor could they have service for early moring flights from the south because of oncoming traffic. If they were ever going to have an excuse to double track the line, this would probably be it.
