Seems since the C-424,#4228(?) has been working the entire line, instead of the GP-15,#1501,that it has NOT been lucky. 2 weeks ago, about 4 hours after I saw it spreading ballast in Brunswick with 6 hoppers,it was involved with the fatality to the fishermen(tresspassers) on the bridge by Warren Depot.

Today,a 70 year old man,who should have known better, and probably too young for senility, tried to beat the train at the Old Bath Rd. crossing, just east of Cooks Corner,by the entrance to Wal Mart,Wendy's etc. and got hit at the crossing. No gates, but flashers were working fine. Train does NOT go very fast there, luckily, and he HAD,what appeared to be a larger sedan. Injuries not life threatening, and he will be issued a summons!

"Another accident" etc etc, I don't think so as far as the railroad is
concerned. This particular heading would be something that I would
expect to see in a newspaper that does not like the railroad for some
reason, not something posted on here for us all to read.
This heading makes it sound like this railroad is an unsafe operation and I
doubt that it is because the feds. would shut it down if it was basically an
unsafe operation.
Another trespasser injured or something like that would be better.
