Oh come on, I think it's quite amusing reading everyone going back and forth.

He can't even get the number straight. Previously he said it was 8776, now he asks about 8876. It's a bridge, no it's a road. It's an Alco, it's a GE, it's an EMD. It was the lead unit, no it was the last unit. On a scale of 1 to 10, his credibility is about minus 5. I won't waste any more of my time on this one.

#1 Ok... can we not focus on the Loco number.
#2: THERE WERE 2 SEPERATE INSTANCES
A: THE PUBLIC BRIDGE, IN WHICH THREE LOCOMOTIVEs + CONSIST CAME ACROSS WITH NO HORN OR ANY ACKNOLOGEMENT HE WAS COMING.
B: THE SECOND HAPPENING WAS IN PLYMOUTH, MI SOUTH OF THE DIAMOND... THE ENGINEER HAD ON ONLY HIS DITCHLIGHTS... THEN STOPPED AND TURNED THEM OFF... *EVEN THOUGH HE HAD THE YELLOW CAUTION FOR THE SOUTH TRACK*.
NOW... please. I am really telling ya. If i could show you a pic I would...

James-
You've beat this issue to death. Sometimes things just happen on the railroad and there is no good explanation other than "the engineer felt like it."
