Hi guys. I would liek to know what is the status of the proposed transit hubs at Morristown, Netcong and Dover?
I've heard that Morristown is half finished with theirs while Netcong will begin next spring. These transit hubs will have townhouses and retail geared to those living there and the commuters as well. Dover I heard is tying theirs into a master plan somehow and is adding housing to their plan which includes a 3-5 deck parking garage and a dozen or so stores to be built on the parking lot that is between Orchard and Morris St next to Cresent Field.
Dover unfortionatly even though they came up with the idea before the other two towns they have yet to pick a contractor and is way too slow on the project. Hopefully Dover wil lget off the ground soon and Netcong will get more service then it is from NJT and hopefully weekends as well when NJT electrifies to PM Yard from Dover so that they can be successful with their hub.
