I've wondered about buses with a couple 3-seat rows up front with a slightly off-center aisle so that the seats are wider, sold as business class, to better approximate the comfort of train travel on an Ambus and make it more appealing. If Ambuses sell out then obviously no, but if they don't, then it seems like a way to make extra money on the same number of sold seats, and to appeal to people who like you and to some degree me who will take a train but disdain an intercity bus.

Here is a photo showing the Train-Bus transfer at Bakersfield noted by Mr. ExCon.

Observed 381(13).

Charger, 3 Ventures, AmCafe on rear.

Seems as if, like in California, the Food Service cars are AWOL.

Observed 380(23)

Charger. AmCafe, 4 Ventures.

The consist seems to get "heftier" with each observation; maybe WIU has reconvened (addendum: checked March 18)

Wish I could say I had a "groundbreaking" observation of 380 (4) today; i.e. a Venture Food Service car in the consist, but I can't.

Otherwise; Charger, AmClub, Horizon, two Ventures.

Any updates on the Food Service cars getting in to consists rather than sitting around Lumber Street, or wherever?
