0215-0405/03-22-2023 offered up more audio -- however compromised -- than visual, the 1st being 0224 Dispatcher-side hash, followed quickly by "OK, here we go."
0235 presented more Dispatcher-side hash, followed in 3 by a breaking D-3 answering FI-2 -- more about whom to follow -- with "signal" and "OK" getting to me, followed in another 3 by Dispatcher-side hash and then "Alrighty. Roger that."
Still in breaking mode at 0246, D-3 advised 16R that they'd be setting off on the 5 Track and would tie down there. 16R was in garble range, more about them to follow.
At 0248, the 333 WLs were dark, as would be the 334s and 335s. Most of the way WB up Da Hill, there was 0301 Dispatcher-side hash, and all the way up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and the yard MT. 16R already E, that MTness kinda hinted that there either was naught for the P&W today or that they'd be another EB outta ED.
EB, there was 0314 Dispatcher-side hash x2, then at 0315 just "FI-2," so mebbe car countdowns.
At 0318, the 333 WLs were dark. The EB staggers for 330 would be at Approach and the 330.8 WBs, 330s, and GL WLs dark.
The FG WLs and ELs would be all at Stop, naught visible E or W. At 0331, there was a "30 to go," and 1 later, the FI-1/2 parking spot was MT, general on the W end of East Side. 1 later came "Stretch," and 1 and after that "Walk up and tie down", so guessing 16R. There had been no marker visible and also guessing that the FGs being lit was a matter of burn-down.
At 0337, D-2(two) answered NA-2 with mebbe the 326, the clarity being the 0337 fulfillment of Form D G235 and a request for how many they'd come down with.
0339 was when the EB staggers for Derby were dark, and 9 after that, D-3 241d FI-2 with the 5956 1 E to 1 at CPF Camp and back to their train. There'd be 0355 and 0356 Dispatcher-side hash, guessing mebbe related to the 241, the final 9 being quiet.

0212-0410/03-25-2023 mighta been a day late, but it wasn't data-short, the start being a Yard-Channel hash storm that would occasionally resolve to M426 car countdowns. There would be later conversations about another M426 doing work in the P&W Worcester yard, and there had been 0203 distant XNG noise, followed by power noise to the E as I was going to my car, followed at 0230 by a breaking X 7.8 -- yes, still B&M Detector -- and other later conversations indicating 2 M427s in Ds 2 and 3, the multiple Ms leading to musings about whether at least 1 each of M426 and M427 had been held clear of the CPF AY area to keep things fluid during the trash-tip remediation.
At 0240, D-2 would give a broken 241 to M427 with the CSXT 479 at CPF NC.
0245 would be when 1st there came "going to release the engines," followed by the 333 WLs all at Stop, stopped racks either side of the Princeton Road/Rte. 31 UGB. There was further mention of the slack stopping at the 2nd from the marker. The 334s were also at Stop, but the tracks were MT and no marker visible E. 0253 would produce "That's a good hose," and 1 later came another broken D-2 241.
The 335s were dark, and at 0258 came a broken discussion from the EB stopped either side of the 333s about brakes holding the entire train.1 later, there was D-2 garble to M427 about getting back to their train if they had time enough or tying down.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. 2 in the yard had general from just E of Chair City Oil to about the W FP, heavy on covered hoppers -- including shorties -- with a coupla unplacarded tanks and a box among the other visibles. A coupla covered hoppers were visible on 4 through the gaps. Dunno about anything else on 4. At 0309, D-3 answered M426 and then went into garble about the dangerous.
EB and at 0313 came "Back on the pin," followed by by a number of rack countdowns, and a 0318 "Anywhere there is good. East and clear." 2 later, the 333 WLs were still all at Stop, and the 1st sighting of the EB was reflectors across from the site of the old steam plant. At 0325, NS 6954 followed by at least 1 other NS was sitting in the Depot Street UGB, and in a bit the C would say they were at Medium Approach and to start it back, the E replying with with a "Coming at you," indicating a shove back W and clear of 333 was under way. Dunno, but mebbe a hose had let go passing through 333, and the decision was made to have the presumed 16R shove W and tie down clear of 333 instead of continuing E.
The EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else dark up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0342, 1 covered hopper on the RVJ stub.
0230 had started what would be a series of "Good for 30" that would fade with increasing distance. At 0335, KCIR 5956 was dark and W-facing on the W end of covered hoppers on the W end of East Side, general to the S. 2 later, there was Dispatcher-side hash and then a 3-step request, so mebbe the presumed 16R with favorable topography.
0350 would be another D-2 241 to M427, this a 2 E to 2 at CPF LO. Dunno if the earlier NC activity was a set-off and/or pickup.
2 later, M427 -- definitely not the 1 at LO, but the 1 that had activated the X 7.8 at 0230 -- got on Road-side. A discussion generally broken would follow with someone from the P&W about another M426 being in the yard with a pickup of 18 and a delivery of 36. Topography being topography, hash followed which cleared to garble when the P&W St. Albans Dispatcher said he was showing M426 clear of the yard at 0400. More hash would follow, a clear Road-side "3-step applied, M427," at 0409, and naught else until the end the the 0410 end of listening. Never heard Form D fulfillments for either the more E 426 or more W 427.
Sleeping too late on 03-26 mighta been 1 of my better unconcious decisions.

0225-0420/03-27-2023 was busy, 0228 offering up Dispatcher-side hash, an event too frequent to have each occurence noted.
0237 would change over to Road-side hash, short and frequent enough to indicate the likelihood of car countdowns.
0244 was the start of a sometimes-broken 16R/D-3 exchange, 16R concerned whether they had too many racks to fit where they were supposed to and D-3 giving the NS 6965 permission to reverse direction from where they stood and to proceed W on 2 to CPF FG. D-3 also advised that FI-3(three) would be on duty at 0400 as the recrew. More about 16R will follow.
At 0247, there was D-2 garble to NA-2, that followed immediately by long D-? garble to M427. Given later events, that mighta been D-3's Form D for X 25 to Burncoat. Yes, I was within a Mount Wachusett ZombieZone at that time.
At 0257, the 333 WLs were dark, as would be the 334s and 335s. There had been 0304 and 0305 Road-side hash along the way, and 0308 was when a garbled D-2 gave a 241 for the Northern Main Line, so mebbe NA-2 again.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and 4 in the yard had lotsa covered hoopers -- including at least 1 shortie -- from the E FP to the E end of the Pratt yard. Other visibles were a coupla unplacarded tanks and 1 MT centerbeam, hinting that there might be another EB outta ED.
EB and at the Rte. 2 crest and also at 0319, D-2 answered somebody and then went into hash mode, a repeat happening in 2.
At 0326, the 333 WLs were dark, and D-2 was again a garble/hash source, "LA" being the sole clarity. The EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else up to and including the GL WLs dark.
The FG WLs were at Stop, naught visible immediately W or E, and the Approach on the 2 EL was the exception to otherwise-total reds. At 0342, the FI-1/2 parking spot was MT, general including an MT centerbeam on the W end of East Side. On 2, a markered rack sat across from the site of the old engine house, and 2 later there was a "Ready to back up. Good for 30." 1 after that, somebody on Yard Channel asked somebody else what the plan for today was, my decreasing elevation and increasing topographical barriers rendering any further deets hash.
At 0348, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, 1 covered hopper on the RVJ stub.
0350 was when D-3 called out to 16R x2, asking something broken about the the FG signal, any response unheard and unrepeated. Proofs of continued scanner function would come at 0357 with Boston East hash and at 0358 AMTK garble that included "no dangerous."
The next input was visual. At 0407, the X 7.8 lights flashed and the gates dropped in front of me. Demonstrating that the old disorder had passed, the C S X Detector X 7.8 announced he was checking train, a no defects and total axle count of 330 coming at 0410, CSXTs 852, 486, and 464 W with a good number of boxes, 2 Irving-wrapped and 1 MT centerbeams, some LPGs, and a string of CHUX gons.
0418 provided brief Dispatcher-side hash, the final sounf of the trip being 0420 XNG noise, presumably for Burncoat.

0220-0425/03-29-2023 was quiet until 0233 when D-1(one) started a convo with M427, D-1 being the clearer of the 2. He wanted a status report, and they were at New Bond and ready to carry on W. At 0239, there was P&W Dispatcher St. Albans garble, so mebbe in response to 427 wanting access to the territory. I'd been up since 0015 and hadn't heard any XNG noise, so guessing that 427 had been a tied-down recrew.
At 0242, there was Road-side hash followed by D-3 breakage. A series of Channel 1 exchanges would next start and last for a few that suggested setting off and/or picking up might be in progress.
At 0254, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334s and 335s likewise.
Part way up Da Hill, a breaking D-2 called out to another M427, an update being 1 of the issues.
Up Da Hill, the 345 ELs and WLs were at Stop and the yard MT. Also MT were the tracks at the Wilkins Road dogleg and Parkers, the 346 WL dark at 0317.
EB, the 345 WLs and ELs were still at Stop, any EB having had enough time to clear the block.
Radio silence got broken by 0326 AMTK hash, ditto from Boston East in 3.
At 0332, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and Stop for 2. Didn't see any marker or cars along the W stretch of River Street, and post-refueling stop, the 330.8 WBs showed a Clear for 1 and Stop for 2. Occupied wells were visible on 2 by the Bike Shop/Zeda's, the 330s all Stops and the GL WLs dark.
At 0347 Boston West proved the scanner was still capable of receiving and in another couple the FG WLs were at Stop, 264's dark power a 100+ yards W of the gym.
The FG ELs were also at Stop, and at 0351, both the FI-1/2 parking spot and the W end of East Side were MT. 6 later, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, a covered hopper still on the RVJ stub.
0405 was when CSX hash proved ongoing scanner viability, only 0407 and 0421 Dispatcher-side hash for the balance of the trip until 0425.

0225-0425/03-31-2023 was quiet until P&W Road garble with only "426" clear. 3 later and me apparently just outta a ZombieZone, D-1 rogered somebody, mebbe 426. I heard naught else from D-1, so dunno who the other side was and also dunno -- since I heard no Form D -- whether the new MPs were in force.
At 0247, there was Road-side hash and next a broken Dispatcher-side "16R," followed by P&W Road hash with just "Barbers" clear.
0254 offered up Dispatcher-side "clear of WL," mebbe to, from, or about 16R or AY-3 or -- as will be seen -- POED. The 0256 hash was Yard Channel, for a change and a 1-time-only occurrence.
0300 had darkness on the 333 WLs, ditto for the 334s and 335s, and WB up Da Hill at 0309 came Boston East hash.
The 345s were dark, and 4 in the yard was almost FP-FP with mixed general that included MT centerbeams, Clean Harbors containers on tables, and covered hoppers among the visibles. At 0315, there had been D-2 hash, followed in 1 by D-3 calling out to POED.
EB was quiet, and the 333s were at Stop at 0333 with stopped EB Ponies on 1. There was another car in the lot, so I kept EB in case a decrew/recrew was in progress. 0336 provided "264" and hash, followed by a Road-side "3-step, that being followed by 264 calling out to D-3 about when the cab was called for, 0330 being the reply. Naught further to, from, or about 264 would come outta the speaker.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all others dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0354, 1 covered hopper on the RVJ stub. The FI-1/2 parking spot and the W end of East Side had both been MT 5 earlier.
Quiet continued until 0420 when a breaking D-2 called out to NA 326 (??) x2 and then asked if they got the ID, adding something about MP N12. Naught else came outta the speaker by the end of the 0425 end of listening.

0215-0410/04-03-2023 started off at the start with brief hash on the channel used for San-Vel activity, but not from -- as will be seen -- today's 16R.
There were hash spurts, usually Dispatcher-side, but once a Yard Channel, "clearing" up to a broken D-? 241 at 0240.

An OT hedzup for infrequent travelers to the Fitchburg-Gardner area: 'tis the season for railroad construction, and 'tis also the season for non-rail road construction. Message boards are up on both sides of Rte. 2 that advise of Sun-Thurs/1900-0500 detours for ramp work. the ramp from Rte. 31 having a cold-planer and detail cruisers and other ramps having signs warning of grooved surfaces. Hopefully things will be quick.

At 0247, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334s and 335s " in sequence.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, but the 346.6 -- not yet rebranded -- came on at 0301, as did the 345 WLs at Stop 1 later.
At 0313, NS 6959 plus at least 2 stablemates came to a halt on 2 a bit W of West Switch, the 346.6 not having yet given a report, indicating either a healthy 16R or an unhealthy 346.6. Given the amount of time the C would spend walking and winding, I got EB, both sets of 345s still at Stop.
There had been and would be spurts of Dispatcher-side hash, some of the later ones mebbe from the 16R C, but the 0321 hash was definitely from D-3.
At 0325, the 333 WLs were dark and the EB staggers for 330 would be at Approach, all else dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0344, 1 covered hopper still on the RVJ stub.
At 0338, the FI-1/2 parking spot had been MT, 2 racks on the W end of East Side. There had been 0340 Road-side hash, 1 later a breaking D-? answering M427. More hash from varied sources would follow, but the P&W Dispatcher St. Albans would say he was showing M427 clear of Barbers at 0358, so -- mebbe -- D-1 had been the source of the 0341 reception, but there also coulda been another 427 to the E. In any event, I'd been up since 0015 and hadn't heard any power or XNG noise, so the 427 that had cleared Barbers at 0358 coulda been W for more than a bit.

0220-0415/04-05-2023 was on the quiet side, brief 0222 Yard-Channel hash setting the standard for pretty much the whole trip, the next noise being 0246 AMTK hash.
At 0252, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334s, 335s, and even the Mount Wachusett slope lights joining in.
Part way WB up Da Hill and at 0301, there was brief P&W Road hash that included "0301."
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and the yard MT, and EB at 0313, there would be a broken 241 to 16R with the NS 69?? for Track ? at CPF AY W back to their train, suggesting either naught for the P&W today or a later EB outta ED.
At 0320, the 333 WLs were dark. The EB staggers for 330 would be at Approach, all else dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0338, 1 covered hopper still on the RVJ stub.
At 0326, there had been Boston West hash, and then at 0330, there had been brief Dispatcher-side hash, and 3 later ~ 6 covered hoppers on the W End of West Side had done a good job of obscuring anything that might be to the S.
At 0342, there was a brief and both-sides-broken FI-2/D-3 convo, brief Road-side hash in another 6, and naught else for the balance of the trip.
No mention of 426/7 came outta the speaker, nor was there any power or XNG noise when I was in a position to hear either.
 #1619781  by jaymac

0215-0435/04-07-2023 was active, 0215 CSX Boston Sub hash followed at 0227 by P&W Road tones and then what would prove to by St. Albans-originated hash/garble to M427 that included the acknowledgment of 5? MTs. At 0231, D-1 would answer 427 --when I was in a spot where Ds 1 or 3 would usually have been broken -- and acknowledge what they said and remind them that -- per bulletin -- they were in D-1's territory. I hadn't heard XNG or power noise from 0030 to 0210, so guessing it was an earlier tiedown which probably had been at Burncoat cuz D-1's 0231 convo didn't include a Form D fulfillment.
0240 featured a breaking D-? reaching out to a Keolis TC and giving permission to reverse direction. Dunno where.
The Rte. 2 EB and WB ramps to and from Princeton Road/Rte. 31 were closed for work, so I went to Narrows Road and took the back way in. The 334s were all at Stop, covered hoppers W and slurries E. At 0251, the 333 WLs showed a Clear for 2, KCIRs 7595, 7620, and 7609 -- ED495 or whatever -- standing on 1. The W did get loud and bright, and KCIR 7517 and NSs 6953, 9???, and 75?? got 90 or so E of the ELs at 0300. There were high-side C&D gons, unplacarded and LPG tanks, full size and shortie covered hoppers, a good number of tented building-supply centerbeams, a few boxes that included 1 Pan Am, and a few bulkheads of pre-painted structural steel. Dunno why a presumed 16R might have a KCIR leader unless 1) the 6953 had PTC probs or 2) the7517 was headed E anyways. The E hadn't gotten brighter or noisier by 0305, so I would be the only near-term WB. Also, some of the unplacarded tanks were Richardson branded, they being the parent of Wesson and other canola-oil operations, so dunno if they're also a new supplier for Catania. The 335 ELs and WLs would also be at Stop, no marker visible E.
There had been 0307 Boston West garble and 0314 Dispatcher-side garble. 0315 provided P&W Road tones followed by hash, so mebbe St. Albans was wrapping things up with 427.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. From W of the Yard Lead switch to about the W FP, 1 had a coil card, intermixed full-size and shortie covered hoppers and then a few tented building-supply centerbeams and a box.4 had mixed general from about the E FP however far W, and 2 looked MT, a probable source of relief to WOGR/GRWO.
The EB exit was at Rtes 2A/140 cuzza the ramp work at Princeton Road, and the 335s, 334s, and -- at 0345 -- the 333s were as earlier. The EB staggers for 330 were at Approach and the 330.8 WBs, 330s, and GL WLs dark.
The FG WLs were at Stop, naught visible W. The ELs were also at Stop, shorties on 2 and -- at 0359 --dark, W-facing, and partially obscured KCIR 5956 sitting to the S.
At 0401, there was brief Dispatcher-side hash, broken and ongoing Channel 1 car countdowns coming in another few. The EB staggers for Derby were dark at 0407, 1 covered hopper still on the RVJ stub.
Things would go quiet for me until 0423 when D-3 asked AY-3 if the were ready for the light, naught further heard from either party.
The balance of the trip would be brief hash spurts, mostly P&W Road.

0215-0420/04-10-2023 started off slow, the 1st reception being 0244 Yard-Channel hash, followed in 2 by a broken D-2 241 to M427 at CPF 309, the same time that the 333 WLs were dark,. Likewise for the 334s and 335s, there having been 0253 Dispatcher-side hash.
As a hedzup, both the EB and WB sides of Rte. 2 had Sun-Thurs 2000-0800 message-board alerts for single-lane travel, and the left-hand WB lane was being cold-planed just E of Princeton Road/Rte.31. Do hope they change the EB time-window.
At 0301, D-3 called out to POED, hash following, and "all correct" following that, but no further mention.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop, and 16R with NSs 6954, 9942, and 7679 was in the process of tying down on 1. On the E were covered hoppers, a CP suggesting there might be grain or flour. Then came DS trashes on the Timpany Boulevard UGB and W. A few covered hoppers were visible through the gaps on 4. The radio was also busy. At 0306, D-2 gave a broken 241 to LA-2 for somewhere on the Northern Main, followed by a clearer 241 to M427 with the CSXT 470 from the Single at CPF 309 E to 1. That would be the last clarity to, from, or about 427 to come outta thew speaker.
EB, the radioactivity would be 16R convos for as long as I was in range, and at 0324, the 333 WLs were dark.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, and after a refueling stop, everything from the 330.8 WBs was dark, including the EB staggers for Derby at 0352, 1 covered hopper still on the RVJ stub.
At 0346, the W end of East Side and the FI-1/2 parking spot had been MT, immediate confirmation that -- in this case at least -- I was not delusional coming when a breaking D-3 gave FI-2 permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF AY.
0356 and 0357 would provide Dispatcher-side hash, followed by Road-side hash. Mebbe FI-2? 0406 was when D-3 would 241 FI-2 with the 5972 1 E to 1 at CPF Camp, brief Dispatcher-side hash coming in another 3, but naught else by the end of 0420.

0215-0415/04-12-2023 started at the start with 264's E getting the words that there were 5 to go. Car countdowns -- sometimes clear and sometimes not -- would continue continue for more than a few.
In between all that, and at 0216, D-1 would acknowledge M427 clear of the property. From 0015 and on, I hadn't heard any XNG or power noise, so again guessing 427 had tied down at Burncoat or Barbers, a Worcester crew taking it W.
12 after that call to that M427, D-3 put in another 1 to another M427, giving it broken-to-me yarding instructions that included Track 11, backing their train down on IM-1 (waters? 264?), and then saying he'd get them a cab.
P&W Dispatcher St. Albans garble started at 0233, mebbe 427?
0244 offered up some Yard-Channel hash, and 1 later' a breaking D-2 acknowledged that NA-2 was back in Yard Limits. There was some more, but hashed.
0250 showed the 333 WLs dark, " the 334s and 335s.
At 0258, there was Road-side hash x2, D-3 next answering AY-3 who -- equally breakingly -- said they wanted to head down to ??? engine-light. D-3 asked the engine number, hash followed, and an OK on signal indication followed that.
UP Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop. The Extension had 4 covered hoppers, and 4 looked MT, but from the E FP to Royal Steam Heater, 2 had covered hoppers, corrosive tanks, a coil car, and a tented centerbeam. A mini-trip W showed the Wilkins Road dogleg and Parkers MT, but the 346 WL showed a Stop at 0312, as would the 345s 5 later. Dunno if relay issues or a reset or a short WB doing paperwork. The only receptions up Da Hill had been public-safety incursions.
Hedzup edit: The Rte. 2 EB message board warning of Sun-Thurs 2000-0800 single-laning was for 2 WB, not 2 EB.
At 0329, the 333 WLs were dark, and except for Approaches on the EB staggers for 330, all else would be dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0349. The covered hopper had left the RVJ stub, but had been replaced by bundled ties.
At 0334, there had been brief Yard-Channel hash. 0342 had been when dark, solo, and E-facing KCIR 7517 sat on West side and covered hoppers sat on the W end of East Side. Starting at 0348 and through 0356, there had been occasional Road-side hash, AY-3 and/or 427 possibly.
At 0410, Boston West garble would break the silence, but naught else as of the 0415 end of listening.

0210-0410/04-14-2023 started getting busy at 0215 when I was in the Rte.140 sag by the Boylston/W. Boylston line, D-3 breaking when he gave 11 --yes, eleven -- R permission to reverse direction from wherever they stood. There was a broken mention of Fitchburg followed by mention of a pickup in Gardner. That was followed by D-3 advising that there'd be a live recrew at ??? and that FI-3(three) would be on duty at ????. Next, D-3 advised that the Parkers radio was was still out. And next, D-3 OKd FI-2(two) to head W, asking how many loads they had, but not repeating the response.
At 0224, D-3 answered AY-3, rogered whatever they said, and OKd them on signal indication. Naught further would be heard to, from, or about AY-3. The brief Road-side hash 5 later would be the start of a spell of radio silence,
The 333 WLs were dark at 0242, the 334s and 335s likewise. Radio silence would get both broken and renewed at 0252 by D-2 garble.
Earlier message-board messages to the contrary, there was construction activity on both sides of Rte. 2 in the Westminster area.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. 4 in the yard had mixed general, covered hoppers and MT centerbeams among the visibles. From the E FP to mebbe the W FP, 2 had general that included NS gons, a coil car, a corrosive tank, unplacarded tanks that included an ADMX, covered hoppers and then more tanks and 1 covered hopper. 4 covered hoppers sat on the Extension. 0302 was the started of a spell of extended public-safety incursions that would continue as I got EB.
0308 was when D-3 again called out to 11R, Mount Wachusett hashing immediate further receptions.
At 0313, the 333 WLs were dark, and more Dispatcher-side hash happened, clearing up at 0315 to a ZombieZoned D-3 call to 11R.
The EB staggers for 330 showed a Stop for 1 and Approach for 2, so it looked like 11R had their route. The 330.8 WB and 330 WLs were dark, but the GL WLs were at Stop, and as I turned on the Water Street OHB, 11R was just getting by the platform, so I hung a uie, a rarity recently.
The 330.8 WBs were now at Clear, and from the vanatage point of the used-car lot just W of the Cleghorn Rotary UGB, NSs 6956, 7670, and 9595 got the train W at 0329. On the tail were 26 racks and W of those were goodly numbers of DS trashes. Up front -- and the position suggesting they'd just been picked up from West Side -- were 28 all-CP covered hoppers. Ardent Mills returns? Some place further E? There was brief Dispatcher-side hash at 0330.
The 330.8 WBs showed a Stop for 1 and a Clear for 2, but all else to the E was dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0343. The ties on the the RVJ stub had picked up company -- a jawed loader straddling the stub a bit E and another loader a bit more E and S.
At 0337, both the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side had been MT, and 1 later, 11R had called out to D-3, but then I got garble. D-3 rogered what they said and asked if they were recovering now, rogering what they next said.
At 0341, D-3 gave FI-2 with the 5??? another permissiuon to head W, more following, but garbled.
0346 was the start of another broken 11R/D-3 convo, D-3 advising they were out of the territory, so it was Ok to cut it -- presumably PTC -- out.
0354 would be when Boston East broken my radio silence, nobody else doing so by the end of the 0410 end of listening.
Not only was there naught IDable outta the speaker to. from, or about M426/7, there was naught in the form of XNG or power noise when I was in a position to hear either.

0220-0415/04-18-2023 started off and stayed quiet, more about which later.
At 0251, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334s, 335s, and 345s ".
Gardner yard was MT, and with naught yet outta the speaker, I checked my antenna, and it was loose on the roof mount, so possible receptions actually began at 0308. As Game of Thrones shoulda taught me, the night is dark and full of errors.
At 0315, D-? answered somebody, hashing following and then a soon-to-be-Mount-Wachusett-broken FI-2/D-3 convo, FI-2 wanting to exit East Side for a runaround and D-3 advising that there was a a patrol and when he cleared FG in a coupla minutes D-3'd get them going. 0318 was when T954 called D-3, D-3 confirming that the TC was E and clear of FG. There was naught immediately further to FI-2, so presumably they got the light.
At 0320, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB stagger for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and a Stop for 2. There was Dispatcher-side hash at 0328, and the GL WLs and -- temporarily -- the 330s dark, although there was light from a WB on the web of the rails E of the platform. D-? had answered M427 right around 0329, but naught further would be heard to, from, or about M427 or M426, including power or XNG noise when I woulda been in a position to hear. The WB continued W, and when they got to the straight E of the platform, the 330s went on with Clear for the 2, KCIR 5972 soon dropping that.
I got EB and there was 0331 D-3 garble that included "Camp, " more to follow. A dozen or so full-size covered hoppers sat by the gym, so guessing business at Derby. There was a Clear on the FG 1 WL, the EB 5972 dropping that at 0336, the same time as some Dispatcher-side hash.
The FG ELs were all at Stop, the 5972 not yet clear, and at 0337, the the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were -- naturally -- MT. 0337 was also when a breaking 16R called out to D-3, ZombieZones compromising any immediate developments.
At 0342, there was more FI-2/D-3 garble involving T954, the same time as the EB staggers for Derby were dark, The tie stack on the stub had been greatly diminished, and a Case loader sat in the NE of the RVJ lot with a strap-filled bucket mounted, the jaws just W on the ground.
There was 0353 P&W Road and AMTK hash, followed in 2 by a broken D-3 241 to 16R with NS 6954 for the Camp W at CPF Camp. D-3 had offered as an introductory hedzup that part of that track was OOS, but he wasn't sure which part, so they should proceed with caution. 16R to the E and Gardner yard MT suggested an EB to come.
Another D-3 241 came at 0404, this to the T954 on 1 at CPF WL to 2 on the Fitchburg Line, At 0308, T954 being E and Clear of CPF WL.], Form D G301 was fulfilled.
Naught else for the next 7.

0215-0425/04-20-2023 started at 0220 when I was in the Rte.140 Boylston/W. Boylston sag with D-1 calling out to M427 and rogering that they were clear of the territory. As has been pattern, there hadn't been any power or XNG noise from 0045 and on, so guessing an earlier tie-down at New Bond since there also wasn't a Form D fulfillment.
There was Dispatcher-side hash at 0233, and 3 later, D-3 breakingly told 16R to leave the trash cars at OX, adding something about a speedo to come. Next came FI-2/D-3 garble about cars on East Side, that followed by D-3 telling 16R that it was 25 MPH on Track 2 at wherever, the "0239" repetition between D-3 and 16R being clear, and next more D-3/FI-2 garble following.
At 0246, the 333 WLs were all at Stop, dark NewBlues 5958, 7552, and 7561 having done that on 1. Guessing they were an ED495 or whatever the nom du jour might be. They hadn't been posted to NERAIL as of 0455, so dunno how long they'd been sitting there. Over at 334, the signals were all at Stop, CHUX gons E and a solo MT centerbeam and then DS trashes W. The 335 ELs and WLs were at Stop, no marker visible E.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, but the Extension and 1 had mixed general including covered hoppers, a box, tanks, and at least 1 MT centerbeam by the W FP. 4 had covered hoppers visible through the gaps, and 2 looked MT, but more will follow. At 0309, a breaking D-03 had called out with something for ED-1.
EB and at 0320 there was P&W Road hash, mebbe 427-related. 5 later, the 333 WL area was as it had been at 0246, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and Stop for 2.
The 330.8 WBs were dark, but the 330 WLs were at Stop and D-3 advised 16R that the FGs had dropped in front of him for reasons he didn't know, so he 241d them with NS 6945 2 E to 2 at CPF FG. The GL WLs were dark, but the 330 ELs were all at Stop, and racks were just starting to move by the platform at 0332, the marker getting E at 0335.
The FG WLs and ELs were at Stop, 16R slowly EB. At 0337, there had been a both-sides-broken FI-2/D-3 exchange about FI-2 wanting to continue E to ??? and D-3 advising they'd have to do a stop-and-protect at ????, FI-2 asking where he wanted them to stop for the Form D Line 12, Derby being chosen. At 0339, the S part of the W end of East Side looked like it had either gons or MT tables, and the 6954 and 2 other Ponies -- illegible -- were pulling through, a few DS trashes up front and then racks.
At 0345, the EB staggers for Derby weren't visible, but FI-2's marker was. The tie-and-loader status was unchanged from 04-18. I took up a position on Nashua Street across from the RVJ building to get FI-2's Form D and couldn't even hear hash from D-3, just FI-2's readback of Form D 301 to MEC 5963, a Line 13(thirteen) to protect all crossings between CPF Derby and CPF Camp. Dunno the issues. The time effective was 0355.
Next came a refueling stop -- $3.29 at Main Street/Rte.13 Speedway, other possibilities being as much as $0.58 higher.
0407 was the start of another mutually-broken D-3/16R convo , including 16R's setoffs at Gardner -- 26 on Track 4 and 4 on Track 2. Let's all think happy thoughts about a WB lifting the Extension an 1 before the P&W Switcher appears.
Naught else exited the speaker by the end of 0425.

0210-0415/04-22-2023 had pre-0200 power noise, but no XNG noise, suggesting M427 was already W, proof coming at 0211 when a breaking D-1 answered 427 and then rogered whatever they said. Additional proof would also come 11 later when an also-breaking P&W Dispatcher St. Albans called the 427 "out." To save suspense, there wouldn't be any more company receptions for more than a bit.
At 0241, the 333 WLs showed a Medium Clear for 2 and -- déjà-vu alert --NewBlues 5958, 7552, and 7561 still sitting on 1 with the same cars as on 04-20, IDed as EDPO in Bruce Macdonald's http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=274799. also of 04-20. If anyone has the url for The Annals of Extended Dwell-Time, please do a copy and paste. Are they that short of crews, or is the Kitty Cat doing a dominance display over the Pony?
The déjà-vu continued at the 334s and 335s, even the WLs, meaning that the Medium Clear on the 333 2 WL wasn't a hint of an impending EB.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop. The Extension and 1 mighta been MT, but 2 was FP-FP with mixed general that was heavy on covered hoppers plus a coupla corrosive tanks among the visibles. The E end of 4 had some covered hoppers, but dunno about the rest. No centerbeams were visible, so no hints whether the cars were to or from the P&W.
There were racks visible at the Wilkins Road dogleg, and NS 6971 led a coupla other Ponies at Parkers, the 346 WL at Stop at 0310, an 11R being the guess.
EB, the 345s were unchanged, but not so the 333 WLs at 0328, the 2 now at Stop, but the EB still in place.
Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, but all else dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0348. NewBlue 59?? was dark, solo, and W-facing in the FI-1/2 parking spot and the W end of East Side was MT at 0342, the tie-and-loader status unchanged in the RVJ lot 6 later.
A broken company reception would come at 0358 when D-probably2 called out to TC T560. I was exiting 190 at the the time, so losing elevation and gaining obstructions, the next coupla quick receptions being Dispatcher-side hash.
The rest of the trip was quiet.

Edited twice for typos.

0210-0400/04-24-2023 had a fair amount of hash, both Dispatcher-side and Yard Channel, and only the clearer ones will go noted.
At 0215 and while in the Boylston/W. Boylston sag ZombieZone came D-3 breakage to FI-2 involving permission to head ? to CPF-AY.
At 0242, the 333 WLs were dark, the 334s and 335s joining in.
Partway WB up Da Hill and at 0254, D-3 said something breaking to or about FI-2, and all the way up Da Hill, the 345s were also dark. 4 in the yard was pretty much FP-FP with mixed general, a clear-tented centerbeam, covered hoppers, unplacarded tanks, and a coil car among the visible. Also visible by the W FP was a car with the same artwork as on 04-22, so mebbe the P&W hadn't been up since then.
EB and at 0307 came D-? garble, probably 2 since "Broadway" was clear.
0313 was when the 333 WLs were still dark. The EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else dark, up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0332.
At 0326, the W end of East Side and -- as would be expected -- the FI-1/2 parking spot were MT. That was the same time as some D-3 garble to or about AY-3. 6 later the tie-and-loader status at RVJ was unchanged.
Naught else but a few hash spurts until 0400.
427? Naught got outta the speaker or was heard/seen in the usual places.
