Over 500 hours have been spent restoring the classic films of the Norfolk & Western railway. “Modern Coal Burning Steam Locomotive,” Operation Fast Freight,” Power Behind the Nation,” and the rarely scene “Abundant Life.”
The prints were scanned at 6.5K, thousands of dust and dirt hits were removed, the color was corrected and the audio restored. Once completed, they were output in true 4K. Also available are over 75 minutes of unseen out takes from the making of “Modern Coal Burning Steam Locomotive.”
