Speaking of 1137, it’s doubleheading on the 1702 set today as seen at readville

Is it in the proper Lightning Bolt scheme or the blue MassDOT scheme?

It is MassDOT blue, as all the rochester rebuilds will be in.

From a reliable source just last week, 904 was to be fixed up and outfitted with cab signals. Although plans do seem to change on a nearly daily basis....

Since 1137 ran revenue service on the south today, does this mean that the Rochester GP40MCs could return to the south to run revenue services, or will they all just go back north?

The Rochester rebuilds do have the traction interlocking capability that allows them to run on the south side. However it is unknown if the powers that be will keep them north to keep equipment commonality across the two sides.

Here’s 1135 resting at Wachusett Sunday 9/4/22 around 0900. Looks good - No rust around the cab that I see.

Can anyone confirm if 1125 dressed in blue like 1136-7 is actually spotted up north?

is 1138 going to be massDOT blue?

I once heard a rumor following the incident with 1137 a few weeks back that the workers at BET often sabotage any locomotive that comes back from Rochester because they believe that it should be their job because "Rochester isn't Union Work". I should also probably add that I heard this from a Commuter Rail Employee, has anyone here ever heard this theory before or have any insights/opinions on it?
- Thanks.
