F40PH-3C overhaul program

Both MP36s are at Erie. That's a fact. The 010 is close to testing. For whatever reason, both units went to LTE for some sort of contract/prep work before heading to Erie.

Does anyone know if csx accepted the units to go west?

Unknown, but they apparently didn't go out last night. The 1052 & the four Rotem coaches are still in Framingham too.

1026 has entered service on the south side

1069 should be cab signal/ptc tested Thursday. That loco will be next in service.

1052 finally got to Middleboro this afternoon.

The four Erie bound units still hanging around Middleboro, though it was reported Mass Coastal moved them to Alden Siding to the west of the layover yard.

1062 and 1069 in Readville.

Are 011 and 010 coming back as MP36s or as some other MPXpress model? (MP40, MP54AC)

It's just an in-kind rebuild.

They are staying as MP36s. The only difference is that they along with the F40’s are getting rebuilt to 3C class specifications instead of 2Cs. They aren’t physically changing them to another kind.

The MP36s are already -3C classification.

Is It True that 1055 is being shipped as well?

1027, 1034, 1055, 1059 being shipped.

1069 is one step closer to being in service. It’s doubleheading on 1714 set.

I am pretty sure it already s in service, I saw it make a scheduled station stop at Quincy Center today as Kingston Train 53
