2 MP15s on the Hempstead branch today with an M3 alcohol or leaf treatment car. Layed up on GC secondary for an hour or so.

At 1:40 PM in the afternoon on 9/15 #161, 153 on the east end and #160 on the west was leading a westbound Ballast train past Queens Village.

There is what appears to be a FRA coach with an mp15 on both sides parked at Hicksville yard.

Ballast train west of Mineola, I think 165 was the East end motor.
163 Jamaica protect, paint looked new-ish

Sandite 2 with E591 and I believe 160 and 163 were doing leaf treatments yesterday on the Oyster Bay Branch. A schedule would be appreciated.

No more 'sandite', that's been gone for some time. There's a pressure washer (look for the tank car) and a laser train. No schedule, they work as directed by the Low Adhesion desk. It depends on what the track work schedule is, engineer reports and input from MofW etc. as to where and when.

I know they don’t use sandite anymore, me and the other railfans just refer to the trains as “Sandite 1”, “Sandite 2”, “Sandite 3”, and “Sandite 4”.

2 Sandite trains were seen on November 10, at 3:21 PM in New Hyde Park headed westbound with #171 and #160 then a half hour later at 3:52 PM east of Jamaica with #153 and #165 by Hall tower.

Yesterday 512 led 167 out to Oyster Bay, 167 brought 516 back westbound.

RF1 was caught twice in New Hyde Park yesterday Sunday 12/29/2019, at 10:52 AM in the morning running light westbound with #165 and #171 and headed eastbound in the afternoon at 2 PM with 4 Hopper cars loaded with Ballast.

On 12/28 the Jamaica protect was #163 and on 12/29, 172.

This is kind of old but remember how 167 has been painted in primier for the ptc test train back in november, will any other mp15s be painted in that scheme? I heard it would be easier to paint than the completely blue and yellow livery which washes off too easily.

Sorry. My bad. What I'm trying to ask is if 167 will be staying in primer or if any other mp15s will become primer or will 167 soon be repainted.

#164 and #150 went past the temp New Hyde Park station on 2/16 at 10:31 AM/10:32 AM eastbound light.

The MP-15AC's are definitely out and about on maintenance trains. But there hasn't been a Jamaica Protect MP for about 2 weeks now.
