Where's 1068 at right now?

Should be into Chicago tonight

Spotted MBTX1060 on a westbound UP manifest early Sat. afternoon, heading for rebuild via North Platte...

Anybody know where 1068 is?

Last reported on the UP 7/12 at Ashton,Illinois. This location is near Rochelle and
one of UP's Global yards.

No further updates and I hope this isn't one of those lost in Chicago capers like
what happened to the 1057/65 on the way west (nearly 23 days to get across the
BRC - And that was before UP closed Proviso hump!)!

Spotted 1061 lite in front of the Southampton maintenance building, so maybe it's wrapped up testing?

Maybe...Tested ACSES/cab signals Tuesday on the corridor.

1068 is presumably in Framingham

1063 has been released and eastbound on the UP by Bliss, Idaho today.

1068 has officially gone into testing now. There are three rebuilds in testing now, the 1028, 1061, and 1068. Do they even have the capacity to test three locos at once?

Also, in other rebuild news, the 1050 has been shifted to the south side, leaving one rebuild up north (1032).

So not only was 1061 returned to service today, it was immediately placed on the south side, a bit of a surprise.

For some reason its headed to Middleboro with the 1028 and Control Car 1716 on an extra.
Which means its likely headed to Area 52/Rochester.

The extra is supposed to bring back the 2014.

1063 still in Chicago? I know 1075 is in Boise but it has a waybill

The 1063 has dropped off the map as far as the national and CSX trace goes. Nothing
is no longer listed, so I am wondering if the report it was out of Idaho wasn't an error.

The 1075 is now waybill reported at Hillcrest, Idaho. Maybe they will come together?
