It could be very helpful for someone who caught a glimpse of the move but couldn't get the name of the car. Happens to me a lot.

For reasons I know not, two H-Bags are on the head of 3 (22). The Tuscan Red FRA Safety Car was on the head of 6 (20).

Oh well, all, plus two METRA's on a two mile walk.Willing to bet there will be a freight before I get home

Several often sighted "PV's" are noted within this article appearing in Today's Wall Street Journal. Unfortunately, the Journal has been plugging the knotholes in their paywall:

Fair Use:
The restored private railcars that travel today tend to be luxuriously decorated mini-mansions, with multiple bedrooms, private chefs, domed glass ceilings and observation decks. Many are owned by ordinary train enthusiasts, who run charter trips to help defray costs.

Borden Black does the cooking on trips on her 1925 Pullman, named the Dearing, with an observation lounge, dining room and three bedrooms. She charges $6,600 a bedroom for a 10-day round trip from Washington to New Orleans

That's the CN's (IC) game to harass Amtrak. 3 (22) has an otherwise normal eight car consit.

Not sure if this has been noted yet but per the Webb Rail fb page:

Come see the former New York Central Observation Car Babbling Brook bring up the markers today - Saturday, March 24, 2018 - 1415 departure - NYP-NOL (Amtrak 19, Crescent, arriving New Orleans, LA on Sunday, March 25, 2018). What’s with the other logo? Stayed tuned for an announcement soon!

Please take our picture along the way and tag Webb Rail LLC - Babbling Brook to share you photo!

I believe the Union Pacific floor mat is for Webb Rail LLC's newest acquisition, full sleeper PACIFIC UNION, of UP ancestry, which will accompany BABBLING BROOK on the trip back home.

That will make three Amtrak certified former UP "PACIFIC" series sleepers based in the NY & NJ area: PACIFIC HOME, PACIFIC ISLAND (now bedroom lounge MOUNT VERNON), and PACIFIC UNION.

Working the KC-STL-ChI run today was Heritage converted Budd coach baggage car 1760.

Clearly DID NOT have a company service label, such as "buffer car".

Anyone know if this is in company service or operational?
