3705 is now withdrawn from service being prepped for the overhaul. Apparently it will be sent once the last 3600 car gets sent out.

What I have noticed, by the articulation joint, is the car washer system just doesn't cut it. It usually leaves the grime and any rail/brake dust behind and after awhile it gets a rust appearance. The first batch of Type 7s, the 3600s, had a bad paint job which failed and the rust come it which I haven't scene on the Type 8s.

I didn't realize the oldest of them were built in 1998.jonnhrr wrote:Type 8's rusty already?
