You can add Amtrak's Adirondack to this mix, between New York and Montreal and mostly in New York State. Constant scenery mile after mile.

I read on Wikipedia that the FGLK suspended passenger excursions in 2013. If anyone has information to the contrary, please post.

FGLK has greatly reduced their excursions. They still run a few of them, but it's nowhere near the frequency of 8-10 years ago. I am waiting for confirmation of an excursion on Sat 1urday 12/10.
