Are the 900s getting overhauls too?

Car 917 is on train 155 to Newburyport right now, I'm wondering why it's up north. Don't usually see the K-cars up here.

No and the 900s do run north from time to time.

This month there's been at least three of them (900s) roaming north - most in a while.

Guess it's just the first time I've ever seen one then.

917, 921 & 929 are currently North Side. I'm curious as to why we never see the 700's up here. I figured after the overhaul they would migrate around a little more.

Well, we aren't very far through the overhaul yet, so you never know.

1703 has returned to Middleborough yard today.

The 1703 will be picked up by an extra Sunday. That extra will bring the 1721 and 1529 to Middleboro.

713 & 737 are on the way back and where last sighted on NS 14R in East Deerfield.

705 went to Middleboro today for Rochester.

713 & 737 came down to Somerville tonight on LA-2. LA-4 Friday will actually deliver them.

In regards to the last post, how does such a thing happen? The coaches are in Somerville but need to be "delivered"? Are they in the middle of a string of freight? Or does the MBTA not have operating rights on the Willey Track to grab them?

Can't say why LA2 did not place them behind BET that night. You'd have to ask the crew.

Operations are crazy with cars all over the place restricting already limited track capacity
for PAR. MEC 313 dying Wednesday didn't help, but PAR chose not to do anything until
Friday...

Oh well...
