So where did the F40s go?

The 22 was reported on a PAR westbound freight tonight with unknown leasing
company reporting marks the poster neglected to cite.

Anyone know about this? LTEX, NREX reporting marks not showing when traced.

Two people on the GuilfordRailSightings Yahoo Group have reported that it has HRRC (Housatonic Railroad) reporting marks.

Yup, I just saw that this morning. Surprising acquisition. Now showing "waybill reported"
at Portland.

I believe 22 was actually sold by CMQ, not auctioned. Its not on the auction list on Pg.1 here, and I seem to remember seeing it on the STB filing in the list of assets sold to CMQ.

That's correct...came from CMQ...

Understand the LTE was a bidder at the auction and got the most units.

Has any scrapping taken place? (5 units)

What happened to BAR 24?

Dunno how long it'll be there, but on the morning of 11-24-2014 the now-HRRC 22 was sitting on Yard 1 Extension at Gardner, MA. Yard 1 Extension is usually -- but not always -- where cars sit after not being approved by the PW car inspector.

Two former MMA Dash 8s are now in Denver on the SLRG. Photo by "BUFFIE":

MEC407,
Just a point of clarification, these two units were not sold as part of the recent bankruptcy auction but rather were sold by MMA/RailWorld back in early 2008 (along with 8536 and 8560) to the San Luis & Rio Grande. But you are correct that they are former MMA locomotives.
Cheers,

SLC 270 is now reported in Montreal at CAD, for work, then to LTEX .

Following units have shown up as waybill reported under LTEX reporting marks:
450, 5016,5018,5374,8525,8541,8553,8578,8583.
The 5374 is rumored to be headed to PAR.

SLC 302 now shows up in St.Jean, Quebec on CPR since 10/26.

Anyone seen these units re-stenciled or set out for shipment?

Also, any units scrapped at Derby yet?

450, 5018, 5374, and 2 xMontreal F40's confirmed, plus several other units were on the first 2 tracks at Derby today looking ready to roll. The 5018, the only one clearly visible from outside the gate/not trespassing, still has MM&A reporting marks under the window, and I see no LTEX on the long hood.

Pretty sure both the 8569 and 8592 have been torched.
