NPR's All Things Considered did a segment last night (4/27/05) on how railroad engineers and train crews are coping with grade crossing and pedestrian fatalities. The reporter interviewed and rode with engineers for Mass Bay Commuter Railroad (MBTA-Boston), but the story was broadcast nationally.

One of our other members posted it in the MBTA forum, just wanted to post it here for the wider audience on railroad.net to have a listen.
