Prolly the only thing the highline would be useful for in transit terms would be a connection to the 25th st viaduct in South Philly. If the Navy Yard is ever significantly developed, or if Philly somehow succeeds in an Olympic bid, a South Philly line might prove popular. Still I don't know what use a line when it's main purpose is to bypass 30th st.

Thanks for posting that website. I've been following the rail lines all over the place and you are right, this is cool. I think I've even spotted where I can get a picture of the Brill tower I've been tryig to find and photograph. Thanks for posting this information.
