I visited the viaduct this Summer and could not find a decent place to take a photo of a train on the viaduct (if one had happened to come by). Are there any locations I may have missed (without trespassing)?

Thanks

John

That would depend on how you wanted the photo to look. It is such a big bridge, that you can't photograph it all at once. I usually go to the road bridge over the creek that is parallel to the viaduct. There are some neat houses that can frame the bridge there. Also, a road crosses at the west end of the bridge. A friend of mine caught a good Conrail photo from this point, but the bridge was dwarfed by the train. Any aerial photos I've seen lose the bridge in the woods. It is blue stone, and doesn't reflect light very well.
