Appears both of the T-L cars will be out and about this coming Saturday out of Grand Central station on a special run up the NYC for APTA Rail Conference attendees....

Oh, so that's what I saw on Saturday. It passed Hastings at restricted speed around 2:10pm (Track work ahead--only 2 tracks in service). The people inside were wearing name tags.

Metro North takes good care of those cars, and they hire them out for private parties--usually stationary in GCT. I don't think they would give them away. Someone told me the Whippany museum has first dibs on them, but that's probably a rumor.

I hope its only a rumor!
