I found a brass HO scale NJ Custom Pacemaker caboose for $75.00 at a online train shop that not many modelers know exist. A couple weeks later on ebay, one went for about $180 I believe.

maybe go a little cheaper and use a HO scale TRIX NYCS caboose. Of course brass usually have better detail. Looks great though

The Trix caboose might be used as a stand-in, but it represents a NYC "standard" cupola caboose.
The Pacemaker cabooses were rebuilt from 36' box cars, thus making them 6' 5" longer than a "standard" caboose.
The difference in length is quite apparent.

i agree with u nyc1956. i should of reworded alittle better. Central Hobby in Syracuse NY released a NYCS standard caboose a few years ago. That was nice too. I believe it was a 19000 series. But thats getting off the subject. Overall the pacemaker caboose shown above looks great.
