Took a ride by Benson St. yesterday- nice progress on the station restoration. Sad to see the ROW though, 3 ft tall weeds growing in the gauge near Ridgewood Ave. bridge. A little over a mile east at Walnut St., Bloomfield, things look better, rusty rails but otherwise ok. I half expected to see an RS-3 pulling its' 3 Stillwells westbound out of Rowe St. on the first PM train out of Hoboken which used to hit that crossing at 4:12 Mon-Fri....oh, it's nice living in the past.
