I noticed that the up comming passenger train release from Walthers for the 20th Centruy has cars named after bays, ports, shore and creek (ie Hickory Creek and Sandy Creek)

What are the other name cars that NYC had with their lounges and sleepers? Does anyone have a list? I can't find it on Walthers or any of the fallen flag railway sites on the web.

Thanks

That is a very useful list...

Rapido Trains is coming out with NYC lightweights in N Scale also including the "City of Rochester"-- but from the list I see it was retired and sold in 1958, or before the timeframe of my layout... oh, well, might invoke "Rule #1" and buy one anyway.
