Good morning everyone! I'm looking for plans/drawings of two ex-Conrail cars:
NS 7: Was CR5 (The Boston). Prior to that it was a NS Research car,(NS7 or 5?), nee NW100.
NS37: I think was Conrail 24. Prior history is unknown except that is ex-military & built by St. Louis Car Co in 1952.
Here's the scoop: While I'm actually a Conrail modeler this will also benefit NS modelers as well. For 2006 we've undertaken building the entire Conrail OCS. We're having replacement sides manufactured for existing models. Since some of the train is now NS & part CSX this will help out NS/CSX modelers too.
We've gotten plans for everything except these 2 cars, now in the NS camp, so any help would be appreciated. If anyone wants to follow the OCS project take a ride over to the HO scale or Conrail forums. For pix of what's been done to date:
