I was on the R7 north of North Philly station headed back towards NYC. I glanced out the east window to see a NJT train coming onto the NEC from the east direction. It was right near the Betsy ROss bridge (I think that was the bridge). I didn't see what was pulling it, as I only caught the last two coaches. Is this the AC line?

Yes, and it was at Frankford Junction Station (closed early 1990's).

the NJT bridge over the delaware river parallels the betsy ross.

the AC line between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia is an interesting ride. I recommend it.

Pretty much, GP40PH-2s dominate the ACL along with Comet IIIs and IVs.

I was a Cornwells Hights station about 2 months ago and I saw 2 (i think the were gp 40s) and two coaches. do you have any idea why?

probably an AC line equipment swap

Yeah it was probably an equipment move from AC to the MMC in north Jersey. The loco's down here arent Gp-40PH-2's there Gp40PH2B's the PH's are 4100-4112
