Almost every train is being changed that you can throw away the July 1st timetable or any train you memorized.

Holy cow, you're right! And notice that there is no more bar car service at all. This will take awhile to digest...

The schedules for Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Line trains will be adjusted between two and 10 minutes to more accurately reflect the impact of track work on travel times and to improve service reliability. Many departure and arrival times have been shifted and in many cases running time has been added to allow for proper spacing of trains through the congested area where the most intense track work is underway.

Danbury branch I know the 8:59 is a goner placed by 9:20pm I stopped taking it when it was no longer direct to Stamford and 20 min more. The 3:15 is no longer direct to Stamford its 3:16 you have to connect in SONO I'm pretty pissed about that, the 5:10 is now 5:15pm these trains I also mentioned do not make sence with the Northbound trains since its single track except at Wilton and Branchville. I might be able to take the route 7 link to work from South Norwalk now with this drastic of a change....

This is branded as a temporary construction schedule: do you know if these changes will revert?

Seems silly to offer shuttle bus service to Melrose and Fordham when the Bx41 SBS is right there.

shuttle service is to Melrose and Tremond, Fordham will see normal service.

Typo...

Also note that the Wassaic trains are now part of the main Harlem timetable. Probably to make space for the shuttle bus schedules.

Oh hey look, the last train back to Waterbury now leaves a half an hour later (give or take). They listened to my whining...What a shame I'm moving towards the NHL proper so I can't enjoy that benefit ;)

Seriously though...OUCH.

It also appears four maxis will go yo the city from Danbury 1811, 1819, 1831, 1841. But only three return at night... Where is th e extra maxi going to fit on 14 and only keep one mini up there? Am I reading the new schedule right?
  by DutchRailnut

both 12 and 14 fit a 7 car train as does track 6 north and 6 south.
mini will fit on track 10.

X questioned was answered in an earlier post X
7:54AM is a New LOCAL (to Stamford then Express to NYC) Maxi going to the city from Danbury adding 10 min more travel time than the shuttle had to Stamford.

anyone notice that their is no train departing from new haven between 9:45 and 11:35pm on weekends. I would hate to be dropped off thinking there was a 10pm (no more 10:22pm) train to the city being stuck in new haven for almost 2 hours Outch! Weekdays there is now a 10:45 train for a nice Friday evening Casino getaway run connecting with any of the busses that go up Greyhound,Myers,Dattco etc (horrible SLE connection is 45 min earlier.)
