Any of you in Texarkana or Little Rock know if the UP runs coal trains (currently) on their mainline there? I seem to recall that this was essentially a directional (northbound) line for the railroad and I don't think there are any coal-fired plants right now on the line unless they're on the Texas side.
Fulton's right on that main line, so I'm wondering whether the trains might go through Fort Smith and Little Rock from the northwest, or if they'd run somehow from the Kansas City Southern down to Texarkana then cut on the UP for the 10 - 15 miles to the new plant.
I'm in northwest Arkansas where there's a ton of growth (and a TON of power supply need) right now, so I expect some significant traffic to this plant some time.
