Although this ad is posted on a National Guard website, railway MOSs only exist in the Army Reserve, and in very limited numbers. If you're in MoW your main activity will be replacing rotted ties.

With the last rail battalion now on schedule to be inactivated, it's the wrong time to join. If you did, sooner or later (probably sooner) you'd be reclassified into a different MOS. Even if you had joined a decade ago, you'd have actually received only minimal rail training and experience, and it would not have been worth your while to join if this was your goal.
