I was talking with some friends about a railfanning trip we took up to Horseshoe Curve in 1968. On our was eastbound on old US 22 we stopped at the old muleshoe bridge over old US 22 as a newly painted Penn Central F7 and a couple of PRR Geeps moved a long train of eastbound hoppers. By the time we got to the top of the embankment the train had almost passed. Not one of the three of us had thought to get the cameras out of the car. I know the track was abandoned and removed in 1981 but was the Muleshoe double or single track? I cannot remember and 42 years ago was a long time ago.

The only thing cooler than seeing an ABBA set of EMD F-7's is hearing and ABBA set of EMD F-7's.
