Catching a Metra "F40PH" is becoming a rarity, at least on MD where only 112 & 121 remain. 114, 119, 124 were the units in charge of HC tonight, and 113, 120, 125, 126 remain in the BNSF/SWS pool. With 116 arriving most recently, it shouldn't be much longer before another unit is sent off.

Uhhh....are you referring to the F40PH-2C/PHM-2C's that MPI rebuilt, or the GP40MC's that Alstom rebuilt from CN GP40-2W's? The MPI's aren't that bad,.....the GP40MC's are another story.

124 is now on the BN as of last night. I think 113 is going to Walmart for rebuild.

124 has not been rebuilt yet. 124 had been assigned to HC.. and appears to have been moved to SWS to cover for another unit that had been pulled for rebuild.

I ran 124 last night. Good running engine. Actually all of the 120 series so far have been pretty good.

114 and 113 are the latest units to be sent out. Also with 124 on SWS, HC has two new assignments... curious to find out what they are.

I didn't see train 914 this morning, but train 916 had engine 111, and 918 had 119.

The third loco on HC sets is 121.. Seems Western Ave is doing all possible to keep the -3's on MD. Suprised they didn't throw an M on HC instead of 111.

How about a couple MPs?

MP36's have run over HC before, however as far as I know this only occured when using an RI set for a Santa Safety run... I think its rather unlikely, but it is possible.

The 400's also ran on the GM&O when there was a derailment at 16th St. on the rock. All Rock trains were anulled until late afternoon. So the HC ran 9 car trains to pick up the slack, which happened to have 400's.
