Metra dispatching.

Does Metra employ their own dispatchers, or do they utilize the dispatchers of the host railroads? Thanks for any info.

It depends on the line. BNSF and UP are dispatched by the host railroads, while the Metra Electric is dispatched by Metra.

So, with the exception of the BNSF/UP, Metra dispatches the remaining lines?

I think that would be correct.

The Heritage Corridor and North Central Service are dispatched by Canadian National. The Milwaukee District is dispatched by Canadian Pacific, although Metra tower operators control much of the movement on those lines.
