We're looking for photos of MEC snowplow #70, built 1936 by Russell Snow Plow Co. of Ridgeway, PA. Sold 1981 to Green Mountain Railway. We specifically want images earlier than 1970 or so, anything showing what paint scheme/lettering arrangement #70 had BEFORE the green with big yellow MEC initials it carried until 1981. The plow is now at RMNE in Thomaston, CT. Yes, there are plans for painting it back to MEC 70-- it is otherwise operable and has plowed snow within the last three years.
