When 010 and 011 came along I almost immediately like the design with the sleek, swept-back nose. I thought that the HSP-46 looked awkward. However, after weeks of seeing the HSPs floating around BET as my train goes by I noticed that the design was growing on me. That was confirmed this morning when I saw 011 roaming around BET and immediately thought, "gee, that nose looks awkward". I guess that the HSP-46 doesn't look so bad after all :-D .

They've really grown on me, too. At first they are shocking, but then they look pretty cool. I like 010 and 011, too. Keeping in mind my (visual) favorites are F-3/7/9/10 or GP-7/9, that's quite a turnaround :-)

Our poor 2001 fell ill again today at Yawkey on 513...had to be towed back into South Station by the 1116, didn't hear what happened to her, but she did die...will post when I hear of her. Also the 2005-2006 were in Worcester, on Main 1 @ 1:56p, across from the old Amshack building waiting on the 1116 to come pick them up and bring them to Boston

Someone on Twitter was told that there was a fuel leak. Who knows how accurate that is, of course.

You don't need an autopsy to tell if someone/something is dead; the autopsy tells you WHY they're dead.

Hopefully the cause of death is not foul play, like a drug deal gone bad or a jealous ex...

An extra with GP40MC 1116 ran to Worcester today (after towing the 2001 back to Boston)
and brought the 2005 & 2006 to BET. Off the Grand Jct around 520pm
